It started with a t-shirt

On diversity, everyday life, and organisational culture.

At Urban Deli, we want there to be room to be yourself, even at work. That's why we've never been particularly interested in shaping people to fit a mould. For us, inclusion means more than words. It's about creating environments where people feel safe, respected, and welcome exactly as they are.

The t-shirt in the photo was created as a simple, clear way to stand up for our employees and our culture. It quickly gained attention far beyond our own walls and became a symbol of something bigger.

In spring 2026, Urban Deli was selected by the Museum of Organisational Culture (MOC) for the museum's first "founding collection." The t-shirt becomes the collection's first object, telling the story of Urban Deli's culture, values, and stances. For us, that's a real honour. But above all, it's proof of the power of everyone who makes our values visible, every day, at work and beyond.
